Maine Coon Cattery Mount Desert’s

Mount Desert’s is an Italian Maine Coon breeding, located in the province of Modena (Emilia Romagna) Since 2003 we are devoted to this wonderful cat breed characterized by a wild  and fascinating look with kind and playful disposition. We are really in love with them.

First of all, we would like to say that our passion to breed  Maine Coon is based on the fundamental principles of huge love and respect for animals. The decision of undertake this enterprise was the result of the love we have for all animals.

From the beginning, we chose to focus on 3 main aspects: health, character and beauty. These are the goals that we aim to achieve, with harmony.

All our stud are FIV-FeLV negative and are periodically ultrasound controlled for HCM and PKD. Furthermore, all of our cats have been N/N for years to genetic testing for HCM (MYBPC3 A31P).
